Suave Dry Shampoo

Suave Dry Shampoo

So, here is the thing. I hate having dirty hair. Loathe it. I feel like it effects my skin and I hate having it near my face. I have battled with either washing it every day OR with throwing it up in a pony tail on the days where I don't wash it. Now that I have short hair, I no longer have the option of throwing it up so I am trying to figure out what to do.

My fantastic sister-in-law Elizabeth, has really loved the Suave Dry Shampoo and her hair always looks awesome. So, I thought I would give it a try. First off, I loved how inexpensive it was, I think it was $3 which I felt was quite reasonable. I still showered (because I refuse not to, I feel too gross if I don't) but used a showercap. Then when I got out, I made sure my hair was still dry and sprayed the roots. As directed, I used the palms of my hands to help absorb the spray.

My hair wasn't too bad! In fact, Chad thought it looked like I had washed my hair. My only complaint is that my hair seemed pretty flat and didn't have much volume. Now, my hair isn't one that naturally has a lot of volume so I wasn't terribly surprised but I had to put a lot of work into it still. Also, by the end of the day, it was pretty greasy and definitely needed to be washed. I believe thats because my hair is rather fine and does get oily very easily.

Not to confuse everyone but below are pictures where I DID wash my hair but ALSO used the Dry Shampoo. It does offer that suggestion on the product and I was really pleased with the results. It made my hair stay fresh and clean looking longer than without it. It also helped maintain its volume a little better because it prevented the oiliness.

Overall, I was a fan of the product and would suggest it to others. Its affordable and I felt like it really did work.

Happy Sunday!
