I was exactly 9 weeks pregnant when we went to Milagros for the first time. We had just left the Doctor's office and were thrilled to have ultrasound pictures in hand. To celebrate, we decided to get some Mexican food (I craved Mexican food like CRAZY during my first trimester).
Though I was not super sick during my pregnancy (I was actually really lucky, I didn't even throw up once!) I still would get slightly queezy in the evenings. Not even vomitous but just a slightly upset tummy in the evenings (it was my version of morning sickness). Sadly, I wasn't feeling too hot the first time we ate Milagros, I just remember that sick pregnant feeling and so I haven't had a taste for it since then. Chad was eager to have it again so over a year later, I caved and decided to give it another try, sans the pregnancy.
I was pleasantly surprised. The chips and dip were nice, the beef enchiladas were tasty, and the rice was savory - it was a total success. Though it doesn't beat Los Hermanos for me (I love that place, pretty ghetto but it hits the spot), I would definitely go back.

Sadly, I forgot my camera because as we were leaving our place, the dog was barking and Geddy was fussing and I was overwhelmed. So I didn't get any good pictures of the main course (just think your classic plate of cheese, beans, and rice). Of course, I couldn't have Mexican food without a Diet Coke and Lime. They go so well together. Overall, I would suggest Milagros to anyone who enjoys Mexican food. Its still not my favorite Mexican restaurant but it satisfied the craving.
