Ha. Oh February, you truly started out with a bang. Tuesday, I woke up feeling nauseous. As the day progressed it got worse and worse, causing me to vomit multiple times. Awful. I couldn't do anything. I know that I am really sick when I throw up because I NEVER throw up. I went through my ENTIRE pregnancy without vomiting. Not even once.
Not only was I so ill but Geddy had a high fever all day. It truly was a nightmare. Luckily, Chad was able to work from home (I don't know how he got anything done with me and the babe dying). After vomiting a few times, I felt a bit better and slept okay through the night (I was up a few times but no vomiting).
The next three days I ate a total of 2 meals. Even today, Friday, I am still queasy. Believe me, I am not pregnant so don't even suggest it. Though Geddy's fever is gone, he still has a runny nose from hell and a little cough. Poor kid. He has been such a healthy baby. Since he was born, he has only had 3 or 4 colds. This is the first cold of the entire winter. Not bad! I have been kind of waiting for him to get sick this winter. It was something I was expecting.
So, I will get back on my game sometime. Remember when I used to post almost daily? Those were the days. But frankly, I am going to wait until I can keep food down (or in, TMI?).
Don't mean to complain, in fact, I need to apologize for doing so. Life has been hectic since Christmas but we are hopeful and excited for everything to settle. Hope everyone is doing well!
Happy Friday!
Hil
