Brisket Tacos

I have been so tired of our usual meals. I get to a point where I just get kind of get bored of the food we eat. Ya know how that is?

On Pinterest, I came across this brisket taco recipe and thought I would give it a try. I have made it twice since I found it and it is quite tasty. When I make this meal, we always swing by Cafe Rio and buy a little container of their Ranch dressing to put on top. YUM. It's super tasty and it's a crock pot meal, which are my favorite.

Recipe and Picture from Confections of a Foodie Bride.

Brisket Tacos:

  • 3 lb brisket
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 16 oz Dr. Pepper
  1. To make the brisket: Rub the meat with salt, pepper, chili powder, and garlic.
  2. Place brisket in the crockpot and pour the Dr. Pepper over the top.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  4. Remove from the crockpot and let rest for 15 minutes.
Eat Up!

Happy Friday!

The knock off diy cafe rio dressing you can find online is a dead ringer for the real stuff!
