A Mini Geddy Post

Today is one of the days where I stay home all day while Chad has the car (we are a 1 car family). I haven't had one of these days for quite some time. Sadly, I have been taking the car almost everyday and using too much gas and running frivolous errands where I end up spending money on lip gloss and unnecessary things. Oh well, it's okay.

These days can be a challenge, especially as it has cooled down significantly. Although I have always been a fall and winter fan, I now fully understand why almost every Mother out there despises the cold. It takes away one of your outlets; the outside world. We are big walkers. I usually take 2 big walks with Geddy and our pup each day but now, we're lucky if we get 1 decent walk. It's just too chilly!

Today, we did manage to take a chilly adventure walk. Geddy got to see a garbage truck in action and loved every minute of it. It was a humorous moment. I was holding Geddy back so he didn't try and touch the dump truck, all while Bobbie was barking and pouncing towards the truck because she didn't trust the fact that this vehicle had a moving, electronic, arm. She is no dummy. She won't trust that nonsense. So I was wrangling them both but Geddy loved it and the charming old Garbage Man waved to us.

We also got to see a construction backhoe destroying an old house ! Our little dude was in complete awe. He stills calls any vehicle or construction equipment "cars". He will get so excited and yell in a strong man voice "CAR!!!" over and over again until we acknowledge it. What a little car guy. He loves em'!

Today he has been pretty grumpy. I am not sure why. Maybe it's the diaper rash? He has got something vicious going on down there. We haven't had a problem with this for ages so it's kind of odd. But we have all the nice remedies and it will be gone shortly.

As I was taking pictures of him today, you can tell he is in rare sorts. Super grumpy and was so mad that I wouldn't hand over the camera to him. He even through a tantrum by kicking his toy bucket over. What a stinker.

So mad at Mama.
Trying to hide his smile.
Throwing a tantrum by kicking his toy cart around.

There you have it! That's our day in a nutshell. Hope everyone is having a fabulous week.

Happy Wednesday!

It's a chilly day here too. The rain and thunder makes me thankful to be inside. That's why sisters are supposed to live on the same street - so that on chilly days we can run to each other's houses and entertain ourselves. :) Consider this my cyber visit.
